There are times when business trips are unavoidable. Perhaps it is a conference that one must absolutely attend, or an important meeting with the CEO. In such cases, companies have the opportunity to neutralize the CO2 footprint of business trips by offsetting CO2 emissions, i.e., by providing funds for projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Voluntary Offsets:
Some airlines offer compensation programs for passengers. Passengers can offset their own emissions by paying a surcharge for their flight to fund projects aimed at reducing CO2 emissions.
ℹ️ It is estimated that over 30% of passengers fly with an airline that offers some form of CO2 offset program.
