Activity Data

A measurable quantity that reflects how much of something happened—like kilometers traveled, kilowatt-hours used, or tons of material purchased. This data is combined with an emission factor to calculate your GHG emissions.

Example:

5,000 km traveled (this is the activity data) × 0.12 kg CO₂e/km (Emission factory) = 600 kg CO₂e.
